KU SOM Annual International Conference 2026

Navigating Business and Trade in a Changing Global Landscape

December 19 & 20, 2026 | Kathmandu, Nepal

The world of business is changing fast. Trade routes and supply chains are being redrawn, artificial intelligence is reshaping how firms compete, and climate change has pushed sustainability to the center of strategy and policy. These shifts raise questions that no single discipline can answer alone.

The KUSOM Annual International Conference 2026 brings together academics, scholars, industry practitioners, and policymakers to present research, exchange ideas, and debate practical solutions under the theme "Navigating Business and Trade in a Changing Global Landscape." Organized by Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) Nepal's leading business school and pioneer of the country's first MBA program the conference spans eight tracks covering firm competitiveness, global value chains, sustainable hospitality, marketing and entrepreneurship, human capital, climate risk, technology and the digital economy, and finance.

Selected papers will be considered for publication in the "Journal of Business and Management Research (JBMR)", KUSOM's peer-reviewed biannual journal.

Join us as we explore how businesses and economies can become more competitive, more responsible, and better prepared for an uncertain future.
