Academic performance of students is evaluated in each term through (a) Continuous In-term Assessment and (b) End-term Examination. The mode of evaluation in a given course is decided by the concerned faculty member who may assign varying weights to one or more of the evaluation modes. The faculty members will announce such weights in the beginning of the course.
The faculty member responsible for the course evaluates the academic performance of students on a continuous basis through the in-term assessment that may consist of written test, quizzes and oral test, workshop practices, take away or class room assignment, research paper, term paper or project work, case studies, analysis and discussion, publication review and critiquing, or any other test considered suitable. The end-term examination will be conducted by the concerned faculty as per the notification of the examination schedule published by and under the supervision of the Dean's office.
