The school organized an International seminar on "Role of Professional Ethics and Governance With Focus On Corporate Fraud: Glocal Perspective", a joint event in collaboration with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The seminar was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University and key note speech delivered by Mr. Narasimhan Srinivashan, Former CGM of RBI and NABARD; Mr.Surya Nath Upadhyay, Former chief commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA); Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Former Vice-Chairman of National Planning Commission and Former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank; Mr. Shovan Dev Pant, CEO of Bank of Kathmandu and Jagadish Bhattarai PFM and IFRS consultant.
The main purpose of this seminar was to bring awareness in the area of governance and ethics with special focus on corporate fraud. The school thanks all the keynote speakers, sponsors, partner enterprises, invitees, participants and organizing team of faculty and students led by Asst. Professor Hari Gopal Risal.
