A program that blends advanced management knowledge and research skills  With an ever expanding professional market for high quality human resources both inside and outside the country, there has been a growing demand in the recent times of managerial professionals with the research and analytical skill in academics, business, government and non-governmental organizations. In-country supply of such highly trained professionals is extremely limited. KUSOM aims to fill in this gap through its MPhil in Management program.
MPhil in Management is a research oriented Masters Degree program that offers a student with substantial grounding in state-of-the-art academic knowledge in management with advanced research skills.
Management professionals pursuing this program at KUSOM Enhance their competitive edge in conceptual and analytical skills for advanced career in academics or other professions in management; Develop research capability in management disciplines for improving management knowledge, practice and profession; and Build a foundation for pursuing the Doctoral degree in Management.
MPhil in Management is an intensive one and a half year program stretched over four terms of 14 weeks each. Students are required to take a minimum of 39 credit hours courses that include core courses, concentrations and electives along with a thesis research. They may take few more additional courses of their interests. Students are expected to complete the program by the 4th term, and this term should be fully devoted to the thesis research. The annual cycle of MPhil program is as follows: Fall Term (October to January); Spring Term (February to May), and Summer Term (June to September).
